CCCT Endorsement for 2024 ACCT Elections Application

(For a seat in Seattle during the 2024 Annual ACCT Leadership Congress)
Application Deadline - October 18, 2023

About the California Community College Trustees (CCCT)

The Community College League of California (League) is a nonprofit public benefit organization whose voluntary membership consists of the 73 local community college districts in California. Within the League are two main policy boards including the California Community College Trustees (CCCT) which consists of 21 members elected statewide by the 73 California district governing boards and a student member elected by the student trustees. With the primary goal of promoting student access and success, CCCT encourages trustee engagement in local, state, and national advocacy efforts including involvement in the Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT) Board of Directors and Committees.

The ACCT represents more than 6,500 elected and appointed trustees who govern over 1,200 community, technical and junior colleges in the United States, and is a major voice of community college trustees to the Administration, Congress and the Departments of Education and Labor, among others.

Considering one out of five community college students in the nation attends a California community college, promoting access and success nationally for the state’s diverse student population is crucial.
