Fri, Jan 28, 2022 to Sun, Jan 30, 2022
Sacramento Sheraton Grand Hotel
General Info

Similar to all of you, the League is closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and California Department of Public Health (CDPH) updates and guidelines as the Omicron Variant increases new cases of COVID-19. The League is taking increased precautions to safeguard your health and safety at the 2022 Effective Trusteeship and Board Chair Workshops, January 28-30, in Sacramento. As of Tuesday, January 4, 2022, this event is still scheduled to be in-person unless or until Governor Newsom or the CDPH prohibits in-person gatherings in numbers affecting our conference.

All registrants who attend in-person League events are required to be fully vaccinated (have received the full series of the COVID-19 vaccine) OR show proof of a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 72 hours of the start of the event. Fully vaccinated registrants will be asked to verify their vaccination status when registering for the event and will be asked to show proof on-site at the registration desk upon check-in. Unvaccinated registrants will need to provide their negative COVID-19 test results on-site before entering the event meeting space. In addition, masks will be required for the duration of the event. Click here to review our full COVID-19 Policy.

It's not easy being an effective trustee or board chair. The League is pleased to offer a workshop for both trustees and board chairs to learn the duties expected of board members of California's Community Colleges. State leaders and experienced trustees will provide comprehensive information on the knowledge and skills necessary to be an effective trustee.

NOTE: This conference is held in conjunction with the Annual Legislative Conference, January 30-31, 2022. Separate registration is required.
