New and continuing trustees alike benefit from a review of the principles of effective trusteeship and board roles and responsibilities. Each session is customized to fit the specific needs of each board and CEO.

Workshops assist trustees in delineating policy governance and in identifying  means to more effectively approach their policy-making and monitoring roles. District boards that are members of the League’s Board Policy and Administrative Procedure Service will further benefit from understanding the League’s approach to policy development and governance.
