General Information

The Community College Public Relations Organization Conference is the annual meeting for PIOs and communication professionals at California’s 116 community colleges. It’s an opportunity to learn new skills and network with colleagues across the state. For more information about CCPRO visit: http://ccprocalifornia.org/

This year's conference will be held virtually via the Whova platform on Friday, April 9, 16, 23, and 30 from 1:00p.m - 4:00p.m. Once registered, you will receive information on how to access the platform and web application.

Registration for the League’s 2021 CCPRO Conference will open soon. California Community College employees, stakeholders, and partner organizations are invited to attend the event.

Registration Cancellation Policy
All refund requests must be made in writing. To request a refund for your registration email Sadie Brown at sadie@ccleague.org. The credit card processing fee will be charged for all refunds. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after Friday, April 9, 2021.

Payment
Full payment for conference registrations are due by credit card at the time of registration. For questions regarding registration, please email Sadie Brown at sadie@ccleague.org.

CONTEST INFO

Submissions are now being accepted for the 2021 Community College Public Relations Organization (CCPRO) Awards celebrating the best marketing work of California's 116 community colleges and 73 districts during the 2020 calendar year.

All 2021 CCPRO Award winners will be announced at a celebratory virtual awards reception the afternoon of Friday, April 30, 2021, the last day of the 2021 CCPRO Conference being held each Friday starting April 9, 16, and 23.

ENTRY FEES & PAYMENT

Early Bird: $30/entry for CCPRO members; $65/entry for non-members
Regular/Final: $40/entry for CCPRO members; $75/entry for non-members

Note: Non-members must adjust fee in the online awards portal, as only the CCPRO member fee is displayed.

RULES & ELIGIBILITY

HOW TO ENTER:
All entries will be submitted ONLINE via our awards portal run by BetterBNC. Secure, online payment is required.

WHO CAN ENTER:
Any California community college or district.

WHAT TO ENTER:
All entries must have been published, aired, or printed and used for the first time from January 1 to December 31, 2020.

All entries must meet the criteria and following specifications established for the individual category entered, as described in this brochure. Entries not meeting the requirements or failing to comply with submission instructions will be disqualified, and the entry fee will not be refunded. The same entry may not be submitted in more than one category, unless that entry is also part of a Media Success Story and/or a Promotional Campaign. All entries are to be submitted in the name of the college or district. All entries become the property of CCPRO.

For Select Categories:
Annual Reports, Brochures, Catalogs and Class Schedules are set up under two divisions to provide equity for colleges with limited resources.

Division A - Colleges with fewer than three full-time equivalent professionals working in marketing, public relations, advertising, and publications.

Division B - Colleges with three or more full-time equivalent professionals working in marketing, public relations, advertising, and publications. Entries designed and/or produced by an outside agency or designer must be submitted in Division B.
