Trustees are locally elected officials responsible for overseeing their college's mission and ensuring their colleges succeed. The Annual Trustees Conference is designed to strengthen the skills and knowledge required of trustees to lead California's community colleges.

Hotel Reservations
All conference sessions will be held at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort and Spa in Dana Point, CA. A block of rooms has been reserved at the negotiated rate of $264.00 plus tax for single or double occupancy.

Reservation Cancellation Policy
A one-night, non-refundable deposit of $264.00 will be charged to your credit card at the time you make your reservation. If you need to cancel your reservation for any reason, please be sure to do so BEFORE Monday, March 28th. In the event of a “sold-out” situation, anyone unable to get a reservation should check back with the hotel after Monday, March 28th, and before Wednesday, May 6th. Rooms may become available following the deposit date of March 28th.

The registration fee includes all breakfasts, lunches, and receptions. Dinner is on your own Friday and Saturday evenings.
NOTE: This price will increase to $895 after the registration deadline.

Special CEO Rate:  $775 (For CEOs Only)
The Superintendent/President or Chancellor who attends with two or more trustees from his or her board is eligible for a special registration fee. Email Sadie Brown at sadie@ccleague.org to receive the special discount code.

California Community College Trustees Annual Business Meeting
Sunday, May 1, 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.

The annual business meeting of the California Community College Trustees includes the election of the CCCT officers for 2022-2023, the annual report of the association's work, the introduction of newly elected board members, and an opportunity to provide direction to the CCCT Board on major issues facing local boards and their districts.

Registration capacity for EAW has been reached. To be added to the waitlist, email Sadie Brown at sadie@ccleague.org. 

The annual Executive Assistants Workshop (EAW) begins at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, and concludes at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 29.  All executive assistants, especially those who assist governing boards and chief executive officers, are invited to attend. Separate registration materials will be emailed and posted on the website. 

Registration Fee: $345 
The EAW registration fee is separate from the Annual Trustees Conference fee. Registration closes on Friday, April 15, or when space fills. 

Participants are invited to attend the conference. Those who wish to do so may register and pay only for meals (use the guest meal rate on the Annual Trustees Conference Registration Form).

NOTE:  A “Bonus” Pre-EAW Session on BoardDocs is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at no additional cost to EAW attendees.

Spring 2022 Policy & Procedure Service Workshop
Wednesday, April 27, 2022

The Spring 2022 Policy & Procedure Service Workshop is scheduled from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27. Executive assistants and other leaders from the League's member districts are invited to attend the workshop. 

Registration Fee: FREE
There is no cost to attend the workshop as your district's membership in the Policy & Procedure Subscription Service covers the cost. The registration is separate from the Trustees Conference and EAW. Registration closes on Friday, April 15, or when space fills.

The Spring 2022 Policy & Procedure Subscription Service Workshop will address: 

  • key elements of the Service, 
  • highlights from the Spring 2022 biannual legal Update #40 (due to be disseminated in late April 2022 just prior to the Workshop), 
  • summary of recent court cases and legislation impacting policies/procedures, and 
  • best practices and solution-generating opportunities with other colleges/districts. 

This workshop is only available as an in-person session.  This session will not be recorded.

COVID-19 Policy
COVID-19 Policy

Effective November 15, 2021, all registrants who attend in-person League events are required to be fully vaccinated (have received the full series of the COVID-19 vaccine) OR show proof of a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 72 hours of the start of the event. Fully vaccinated registrants will be asked to show proof on-site at the registration desk upon check-in. Unvaccinated registrants will need to provide their negative COVID-19 test results on-site before entering the event meeting space.

Vaccination Cards
Acceptable proof of the COVID-19 vaccine must include one shot of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine OR two shots of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, as well as the registrant’s first and last name. Digital (including photos) and paper copy vaccination cards will be allowed. 

To receive a digital copy of your COVID-19 vaccination record from the California Department of Public Health, go to https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov/.  For a video tutorial on how to receive it, click here.

Test Results
Proof of a negative COVID-19 test result must include the registrant’s first and last name, birthdate, and show a negative result taken within the last 72 hours. The type of test can be an antigen or PCR/NAAT test for COVID-19 or SARS-CoV-2. The test should be administered by a laboratory or healthcare provider. A COVID-19 self-test, sometimes referred to as “home test,” is not acceptable. Registered attendees can provide a printed or digital copy of their test results.

Masks are encouraged but will not be required. Registrants will receive logistical information via email, including safety and prevention measures, before arrival.
