The Community College League of California's Annual Convention, scheduled for Nov. 16-18 at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa, Indian Wells, brings together expertise and best practices at the League's largest professional development event. Registration opened last week, and League staff has an insider's look at our planning process, including more about this year's theme.

Larry Galizio, CCLC President & CEO

We chose this year's theme to highlight the distinctive colleges and districts that comprise California's community colleges. Our programming reflects the vast expertise of local knowledge and exceptional solutions across the state. "Uniquely Yours" describes what this year's convention recognizes—the diverse and impactful ideas from and accomplishments of our dedicated and talented CEOs, trustees, staff, students, and partners.

Sadie Brown & Jimmy Madrigal

We are excited to see you again this year in Indian Wells. We look forward to engaging with you in sessions and networking activities to connect you with thought leaders and community partners statewide. Please join us for coffee breaks and the Opening Reception in the Educational Showcase Exhibit Hall and celebrate what makes your campus "Uniquely Yours."

Lori Bachand, Senior Director of Communications

Our internal conversation about how to celebrate "Uniquely Yours" as the Annual Convention theme was straightforward. Why not let our colleges and districts tell us what sets them apart? We are excited to showcase California community colleges' distinctive qualities as part of this year's theme. And guess what? We'll ask you to tell us what is "uniquely yours." PIOs and EAs, stay tuned for an email in mid-August!

Register by Aug. 14 to receive an early-bird discount.
